Hello:

My name is Elijah Miller, and I am a Junior studying Financial Economics at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I have completed coursework in fields such as Accounting, Economics, Business, Statistics, and Computer Science, and I currently have a 3.85 GPA. I am passionate about Finance, and I have accumulated over a year of professional experience in finance roles.

I have previously worked full-time as a Business & Finance Manager and as a Financial Secretary. As part of these roles, I developed critical business and financial acumen as I collaborated with my leaders and more experienced peers. As a Business & Finance Manager, I had the opportunity to implement a new digital financing solution which cut deal funding times from several days to just a few minutes.

I am also highly interested in Data Science and Engineering. I have taken several university level Programming, Computation, and Statistics courses. I principally use programming tools such as Python, VBA, and R to analyze trends in the stock market and to perform fundamental and technical analysis on companies I am interested in owning shares of. Discovering trends and creating models is something I am excited about, and I hope to pursue a career that will allow me to expand my data analysis skills.
